Connecting the Dots in a Welcome Video!

Random videos online get lost in translation, so connect the dots! Your intial welcome video should be focused on reaching customers, demonstrating results, emitting emotion, showing uniqueness and building teamwork.

Dot 1: Reach. Make sure you reach out far and wide to customers with your brand but don't forget to really get the attention of the viewers you want. Narrowing down to 3 or less points, and making sure you state what you specialize at your company can help you to reach for the stars!

Dot 2: Demonstrate. Show your capabilities, don't just talk about them. Testimonials are a great way to state end results and even shows some end results, especially from repeat customers. Adding graphics, charts and other demonstrative elements to point out how well you perform can secure potential clients who want to see truth in results

Dot 3: Emotion. Convey your passion for what you do and how you can help your customers. And don't just say it, show it. As you are sharing your message on camera, let your emotions flow free!

Dot 4: Uniqueness. Exhibit yourself in the character you really are, the approach and style you conduct business. Don't be afraid to be who you are. Not only will you stand out in your video, the video may get lots of "LIKES" for just being different.

Dot 5: Teaming.  Share stories from behind the scenes at work, on jobs, locations and let viewers get to know your team now. It's nice to know who you will work with on a project before you end up spending hours and days together and realize you don't mesh. Build your team into the center of your video presentation. They are afterall who your client will be working with, right?

Connecting the dots can be fun. Don't stress on the process of getting to the final project - enjoy the ride of videomaking. Call a professional producer who will make it all worthwhile.
