I get calls all the time from potential clients asking me if I shoot in Hi Def (High Definition) video. You may even be saying, "WHO CARES" about HD, SD, or DSLR videos, I just want a video on my website! Folks, I know this is gonna be a bit technical so I will make this weekly blog short and sweet.
As technology is constantly changing, you may get confused thinking you must have your project shot on Hi-Def (HD) or whatever is hot and new this week. HD is really only good for broadcast television or direct-to-DVD projects, as cable TV is still transmitting in standard definition, and not all web delivery can handle the bandwidth needed for HD. Sure the picture quality is gorgeous, but for most projects Standard Definition video is fine.
But a professional videographer will be able to offer you a CHOICE. Don't get caught up with all the hype. Get the answers, call me for a consultation any time!
Til next week,
Keep the lens cap off!
